It's Mother's Day!

She doesn't think that a day to celebrate Mums is a good idea??

Nope! She'd be very offended if I tried to celebrate it with her in any way! Don't get me wrong, she's a lovely mother, the best! I just respect her beliefs and do what I can for her when it matters, not because it's some day I'm supposed to be nice to her. She's got a point really!;)

got my mum a card, but of course, poor Ducky can't celebrate with his mum

she was shot by a duck hunter, 12 gauge shotgun took the poor thing out and she became the main course, I say we have a moment of silence for Sparkey Duck's mum

Also known as 'Mothering Sunday'.

Well, it is here in the U.K. I don't know about the rest of the world!

Got my mum a nice big card and some flowers, going to go and cook Sunday dinner for her soon.:D

Hi all.

I was ill from Saturday early evening (my time) and worse yesterday, so I didn't see this thread, as wasn't up to being online for that time.

Mother's Day wasn't as it should have been because of being ill, we couldn't go out in the end, like we were going to do. However, my lovely young man did buy me a couple of gift vouchers for books and cd's or dvd's and a lovley card. Shame I felt too rough to enjoy the day.

Happy day to Debbie and Ria. (I don't think we have any other UK Moms, do we?)

Thanks - nice of you to post that to us. :)
