Ok, I stupidly spilt cider on my keyboard the other night and now the w and r keys keep sticking really bad. I've tried cleaning it as best as I can but it dosen't work any better. Any advice how to unstick them? I've ordered a new keyboard any way before this but until I get this, this is a real pain. Everytime I type a w it puts up about a dozen wwwwwwwww's which I then have to go back and delete.:(

Yikes. We got a spacebar problem here. To a brand new laptop. The child shook his sippy cup all over it.

Hmm, no dishwasher I'm afraid, tried using a bit of WD40 on it, well that's got to be good for it!:D Point taken though, I'll have to take the keys off and wash them if that dosen't do the trick, either that or just wait a couple of weeks for my new keyboard to arrive from Hong Kong!

Pull all the keys off and stick it all in the dishwasher. After that, let it completely dry. Should be fine.

That was something similar to what I was going to say. Have you literally pulled the keys off and cleaned in there? (Of course, make sure you have some sort of organized system for popping them back on in the right order.)
I dunno about sticking them in the dishwasher though. I've never done that. Just hot soapy water should be enough. And make sure they're plenty dry before you put them back on.

Nah, I'd ordered a new one because it's a good flat one which I got dirt cheap.

That's everyone for the advice though, think I might leave all the hassle of taking keys off mind you unless it gets really bad if it's only for a couple of weeks.;)
