Anyone Afraid Of Obama?

Everywhere I look, people praise Clinton for his efforts on the national debt and the economy.

Even looking at this wikipedia article.

National debt by U.S. presidential terms - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You can see the national debt lower during Clinton, and raise during Bush. Though I will admit that not all the figures in these articles, other articles, and these tables, match up very well.

My only fear of Obama becoming President. Is the fact that theres a chance he might get killed.

(Not trying to be racist.)

But that reason is because he's black. And there are alot of racist pigs out there that won't accept the fact about a black person being president.

The only people that would assassinate him wouldn't do it because of his skin color. It would be because he beat them at politics.. :cough: Clintons :cough:

I have a bad feeling about it. Hope im wrong.
that he will turn up radical Muslim
---------------------
I haven't read all the posts here so if I'm repeating what others have posted, forgive me.

I am deathly afraid that he has a damned good chance at becoming our next President.

I have several major fears:

1) He will be assinnated in office and we will have major race riots in this country. Plus, he may be picked off somewhere out of the country that will start a major incident to bring us again into war.
2) His Presidency alone (because he is black) will be a cause of race riots.
3) I cannot find out where he got all his campaign $ so quickly and in such vast amounts. He was the Senator for IL where I live but up until this election business began, I never heard or read anything about him and I try to keep up on politics. I fear he is being minipulated by money people who would like to see this country's end as a major power in the free world.
4) The church he attends preaches primarily "black power."
5) He has little if any experience on the international front.
6) I see him as a preacher in wolf's clothing but as a minor player among the pack. He makes a great talking head.

I have more thots but won't bother you all with them. I'll just say the man is NOT getting my vote and not because he is black or was exposed to some Muslim teachings.

My feeling may all boil down to the fact that I don't trust him.

Can I counter-argue a bit?

1) We have to have someone other then white at some point
2) Same as 1
3) This reminds me of all the other canidates... where do they all get their money from?
4) what?
5) He is young but, he watches the news, just like all the other canidates, and just like most of the other canidates he would have trouble with this, simply because he hasn't experienced it yet, but, everyon has to at some point.
6) His words are great because he is a good young speaker and writer, period.
Final Thoughts: Can we really trust anyone to run our country?

Personally, I support Obama. He makes a point, it really is time for change. America's gone downhill severely ever since Bush became president. He honestly seems like one of the best candidates to bring us back up. And personally, I don't care about his religion. I think it'd be better if all the candidates just refused to state their religion, and leave people to vote based on what they can actually do to help this country. Separation of church and state is bullshit. Soo many people focus on these guys' (and lady's now, apparently) religions. OMG he's muslim, he's gonna blow up the United States!!! I also don't think it's that big of a deal what race or gender they are, either. If a black man or a woman are best qualified to run this country, I'll vote for them. That's that.

People really need to stop focusing on the less important issues, like religion or race. Focus on what they can actually do for the country.
