There are a bunch of things everyone should experience in life.

Having a baby, driving a fast car around a sanctioned race track, love and joy.

Unfortunately, the more common things are more dangerous.

Like trying to accelerate on a highway while doing 35 with some freaking black ice right there.

Let me tell you something... I about shit my pants when this damn tank of a work truck went sideways on me this morning. There's nothing more nerve racking than looking out your side window seeing traffic that is supposed to only be seen out of mirrors and rear windows.

Speaking of black ice. My mom was on the way to work and her car slipped on the ice, flipped and went right back on the wheels agian. Her car = no more.

But she's fine. THANK GOD!!! :clap

Try this instead, it's still fairly dangerous in the wrong hands, but for a different reason!!!

Black ice doesn't look like a puddle.

They just redid that section of the interstate, so it was black top. Throw some mild snow fall and drifts over the top of it, you simply CANNOT see black ice. Hence it's name. It's almost impossible to spot until you're on it.

true ,but even if there isnt any snow over it its almost impossible to detect it till you hit the bloody stuff....thats why it kills so many people each year.

We had some ice the other day. I love my car in the ice. It can sense of the car has lost traction and shuts everything off. ETC.

I used to think this stuff wouldn't work, but when I play silly-buggers in the snow and get her sideways, BEEP-BEEP-BEEP OFF!

Not so cool if you want to do fish tails. But very cool if you want to keep your family safe :)

It's basically just ice that isn't a sheet on top of pavement, it's grouted into the pavement so it's harder to spot. Normal ice will mostly look like a puddle of water and you can adjust your route accordingly, but this shit just seems to pop up anywhere at anytime. Especially when you start the day out with it being 7 degrees (-13 celcius), windy and lightly snowing.
