Yeah, pure skill and grace there - I have watched them since they first became known in the championships, but have loved Iceskating since I was about 4 years old. :)

i saw them at the NEC in birmingham in 1989,i was about 3 metres away from them when they came on and off the ice ria...i tell you christopher dean is enormous,iv never seen torso like it,built like a brick shed.

this is great ,it shows how dangerous figure skating can be when youre flying through the air at 25 miles per hour.
some of it hurts just watching ,and the bloke with the splits probably will never have children.

You are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky - that is something I always wanted to do, but it never happened. That is something I have always felt so gutted about too - never able to see their wonderment and skills and talent - I would have just been soooooo mexmerized.

Yeah, the men have to be built so big for lifting, but they are all so extremely unique compared to most sports.

Well I managed it, didn't you then Debs?

I wonder how Gina is?

Yep, her quadruple was fantastic and deserves a 6.0 :24: Oh damn, they stopped scoring that way a few years ago didn't they. They really made it complicated didn't they in the end? I still haven't got to grips properly with the newer scoring.

Was to stop fixing the scores, but to be honest, I'd have thought they could still do that, no matter how they are done.

There was a big hooha about it at the time. :(
