I dunno! Coots are narky and will swim over making aggresive noises, the swans where I live actually come over and bite at you. Dosen't help when you're trying to stop a big dog from jumping on them at the same time!:willy_nilly:

Yeah, don't kill them, the mute swans anyway, unless you want to end up in some serious shit! I remember a few years ago there was a load of outrage in the papers because some illegal immigrants got caught killing one to eat!:willy_nilly:
As far as I know though, it's ok to kill and eat the Bewicks and whooper swans we get over here in the winter.
