i always use imageshack to host images.. i dont know about photo bucket... sorry

Go there, sign up for an account and you'll be able to start uploading photos. Once you have photos in there you'll see four boxes under the image.
One says "Direct link". You'll want to copy that link, scroll back to where you want to post it and click the little image box above your post box and insert it in there. Then the photo will appear in your post.

If you don't want to sign up, then Imageshack or Simplyrandom might be a better bet. When you want to upload a pic, you just use the browse button to find the pic on your computer, then upload
Imagesocket's pretty good too, but it can be slow downloading.
