Everyone's got a cd that blew them away and made them love music. It seems usually to be during adolescence.

Which album hooked you on music?

For me, it was Nevermind by Nirvana. There was no looking back after I heard that.

Michael Jackson's Thriller is probably the first real CASSETTE I ever owned! I'm so old I even know what a record is... LOL

Ha ha! Thriller was the first LP I bought too! I musta been like five years old.

I wish I could say 1984 or Synchronicity, but it was MJ! But I can't say that I really turned on to it.

It was all Nirvana. I can still remember listening to them during school back in like 3rd-4th grade...sadly that was around the time Kurt passed.

:clapLove that stuff Deb's, I still collect classic vinyl:cool

There is a myriad of classics that got me inspired as a very young child, my parents listened to music on the weekends, rearely did we watch TV, we spent time outdoors and listened to music.

The Cure was my first "generational identifier", that album I posted is what identified my musical independence:)

Guns N Roses - Use Your Illusion I & II

Dad just bought a new stereo, and I got the old one in my room. Needless to say, the neighbours also got to know the album well :)

I'm a cold heartbreaker
Fit ta burn and I'll rip your heart in two
An I'll leave you lyin' on the bed with your ass in the air
I'll be out the door before ya wake
It's nuthin' new ta you
'Cause I think *we've seen that movie too

It's kinda disturbing how many children love MJ lol

We've already had three people on here who bought MJ as kids.
