Anyone go on Craigslist?? I was thinking about looking for a room mate.. maybe a temporary one while I'm working so much over time... I've looked on there and everything looks OK... but I dunno.. I'm paranoid. Anyone have stories... success/horror... :confused

I use Craiglist here. Seems to be safe. I have bought a few things off of it from my area.

I've rarely had good experiences with roommates. But that was when I was in college, so I'm sure that makes a bit of a difference. It's still important that your home be relatively conflict-free, so be careful.

A- Are not dependable with $$
B- Live at home and won't leave
C- Live with their S.O's

I dont know shit about roommates on Craigs list. But I have bought and sold plenty of stuff on there.

Craigs list is good for gettins stuff but I wouldn't suggest getting a roommate that way.. remember the girl in Minn that went for an interview to be a nanny on craigs list and got killed? You never know people when you find them out of the paper or on craigs list.. I wouldn't suggest using it but if you do be VERY careful and have a good screening process..
