Weighty Issue...

I wasn't quite sure where to put this thread.. SO I figured this would have to do..

I'm trying to lose weight and for some reason I just can't!! I know I weigh to much and I am really trying to do something about it.

Things I have done and I am doing [[but ARE NOT working!]]

1. I eat healthy, I have junk food once or twice a fortnight

2. I exercise at least 30minutes to 1 hour a day, either by going to the gym, swimming, walking around a lot.. I am going to buy a bike, I can't really run that well cause my feet are rather dodgy.

3. I drink 3-4 bottles of water a day

4. I have even started doing something that one of my work friends said she did and lost 17kg, eating less food, so having smaller portions, I still have a normal sized brekky otherwise I get really dizzy, apparently this is supposed to shrink your stomach..


I want to know if you guys have ever had issues with your weight and what you did to help it.. I am not one of those people who can just accept it, i need to change it! lol.. I'm stubborn, I can't help it..
 
If you're doing all those things and you aren't seeing any results, you may want to get tested for either Diabetes or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. PCOS causes the hormone levels to interfere with your body's ability to produce insulin, therefore making it impossible to lose weight.
 
Well with PCOS you can't control your weight without a load of meds. I was diagnosed a couple years ago and I gained like 98 lbs. before we got it under control.
 
How's it goin? I had to skip running yesterday:(

I'll make up for it tomorrow though :) I bought a scale too, so I can hopefully watch the progress :D

It's actually going well... I mean two weeks later and I'm still getting up bright and early every morning to do my exercise :]

Not tiring of it yet...

And yeh I may need some electric scales or something!
 
Regardless of your weight, have you felt better in that time? That's a good indicator if you're doing something right or wrong.



Not really to be honest, it's probably just the heat, but I can't get to sleep.. I know I have a lot of problems outside my weight that aren't good, and they could possibly be adding to it, but yeah, nothing really is any different.. I never get full and I never really get hungry..
