I guess a lot has been going on since I have been away for awhile. I sort of see a lot of new names and a lot of posts that I am sure I will have to read to keep up with times.

As for myself, I have been really busy. I have been doing a lot of training and riding. I decided that I was going to take the evening off tonight and come hang out with you all.

I am getting too used to the bulls I am riding that I can tell their every move as soon as they get out of the chute. That in itself can get pretty boring as it becomes easier and easier each time. I think I am going to head to Payson Arizona this weekend and ride some fresh bulls that I have no idea as to what they will do.

Anyway, I have to say that I have thought a lot about the people on here and I do miss talking to you all. For those of you that don't know me let's just say that I am the OTZ Cowboy!! I am sure I will meet up with you in a conversation or a thread in the near future.

My horses and mule are doing well. I have the colt saddle trained. I have put hay bales on his back to get him used to having some weight on his back. In another month or so I will be able to take him out and break him. It should be an easy task as he thinks he is a puppy lol.

Thats awesome!!! LOL he thinks he is a puppy :confused:confused

The horse I rode at the western camp (Kerry) thinks he is a dog sometimes, I swear :p

Yep, that colt follows Festus(the mule) around all the time until I get there then it wants to follow me like a puppy.

Oh nice!! Let me think a minute was that your grandfathers horse that had the foal? Or was it a friend of your grandfather's? I am sorry for not remembering.

Rambler, that is a pretty cool name. My colt's name is Gulliver. I didn't name him, as I got him when he was about 7 months old.

Oh very nice. That must of been fun for you. Very nice pictures thanks for sharing. Rosa is a good looking horse as is her foal. Rambler looks like Gulliver a little. You can see him in my AVI. I have to ask is Kerry an Appaloosa of some sort?

Yeah Gullivers is really cute :) Yes he is a Appaloosa!!

My horse Shadow is an Appaloosa. I figured Kerry was too. Appaloosa's in my book are good horses. I also like Quarters and Bays. Did you find that Kerry liked to run? Shadow likes to run and I mean sprint.

I am not really sure, we didn't do any loping at this camp as some of us were fairly new riders, but Kerry was a very obedient horse, but he does love running.

I would love to see what it is that you get taught at your camp. I bet it was a blast for some that don't have much riding experience. Did everyone have to supply their own horse?

I am only guessing, but was it about riding and taking care of your horse as well? Did they have stables and such and did you all sleep in some sort of dorm or something or did everyone go home in the evening?

Everyone bought a tent to sleep in and there was an elevated camping spot for them. They didn't have stables and everyone bought their eletric fence to put up for their horses. I slept in the house.
