I don't pay taxes right now at least nothing I can get back. When I did I got paid so little I didn't have shit for return.
saving it for a trip I think at the end of May
we'll probably use ours as part of a down payment for a house

I don't know yet, I'm dreading taxes this year. My first 2 months were tax-free, I've got 2 W-2s, plus Amber's, 3 months of unemployment, plus we had a baby..... To much damn work...

Ehh, they are talking about a HUGE reduction in the child credit this coming year, we'll see how that goes.
Because I have a child with Autism, I spend an enormous amount of money out of pocket for things for him that insurance will not pay for. AND since I refuse to tap the money spigot open to us under the Persons With Disibilities act, at least right now, I go into the wallet pretty deep.
And for that, I get about a penny on the dollar back...If I am lucky.
However, I thank God every night that I have it to spend, but damn.

They are normally pretty forgiving, as long as you pay them.
I heard that there's actually no law that says you have to pay federal taxes. What's the deal there?
