The fandom of Twilight is pretty intense. I had never heard of the book or anything and now lots of people are gushing about it, hating it like it raped their moms or marrying it.
Lesse, last movie(s) I watched were:
Mulder's going to love this one. Sicko.
Again, Michael Moore makes an entertaining documentary. The guy is a good fiction writer. We probably all know about the, er, liberties, he has taken in his docus before but they're still enjoyable and there is some truth in 'em. I haven't actually checked the facts of Sicko but I don't really plan on it either. To me it was more about emotion, anyway.
And, War, Inc.
Meh. I like John Cusack and I like satire but this just didn't do it for me. Satire doesn't have to be funny but this was obviously trying to be and I only laughed twice. It gets props for being relevant, by showcasing the corporatization of things, mainly war. The plot was really predictable in a lot of ways, though. Didn't really keep me into it like it should have.
The action scenes weren't too bad and they had some pretty nice choreography.
It could have been great, but skip it.

Watched Elf last night with kiddos, we have seen it a million times but we all still laughed until we peed a little
I love Elf! I've seen it a gazillion times too and laugh just as hard every time! I love when he runs into the coffee shop screaming "Congratulations! You did it!" I got a lot of mileage out of that over the years.

Just watched The Hurricane...can't believe I missed this film for so long...brilliant and can't believe Denzel was passed over for the Oscar for that one.
that is a good movie. i have it on VHS believe it or not.
I can believe it...it's from '99...but still an excellent film!
