As the story goes, and BDN knows all about it.

Four years ago I was driving a beater POS, and I wanted to get rid of my 92 EGT, so I sold it to him for 500. Just after he made the last payment, the deal on my 04 Nissan Sentra Spec V fell through. I was told I was approved for the loan, but wasn't and was given the car anyway. I had it for 11 days, and when I got the letter from the bank stating I wasn't approved for the 23k they financed this 19k car for, my dad did some research and had the GMs thrown in jail for the illegal activity they did while bait and hooking me.

Anyway, I bought this car brand new. It had 5 miles on it, and in the 11 days I drove it to both of my jobs every day AND drove it around to just get the feel of the 175 hp and that slick ass 6 speed it had in it.

I put 560 miles on it and took it back to the dealership on E. :)

If you have a Bob Rohrmans dealership near you; never be young and try to buy a car honestly on your own. They'll fuck you over.

I can't believe that it's been a little over four years since that happened. This Civic has been the best car ever so far.

Hey scott, go to the auto showoff section and look at the thread called Black Ice.

Honestly, I enjoy my gas mileage as much as a little beef.

Grab yourself an LS1. You can get an '02 Z28 with 40K miles on it for something like $10,000!! I get 22/28 mpg in my '02 SS. 420hp with that gas mileage, at that cost.... Can't go wrong there. Plus, it wakes up the neighborhood when I start it!! :D

I think a lot of car dealerships do that shit. It happened to me a couple of times, and a lot of friends as well. HEck, trying to buy a car in Hampton Roads, VA is plain ol' dangerous. A lot of military get taken to the cleaners there, mostly the young kids.

When I got my Jetta a couple of years back, the dealership was super friendly, the finance guy said everything was taken care of and all I had to do was call NAvy Federal CU and finalize it with them.

That translated to :We didn't even call the CU ourselves, you have to, have fun.

NEedless to say, I ended up going through USAA and got the loan, but I still couldn't believe they let me drive off the lot giving them absolutely nothing...idiots.
