Well I'm in a state of relief. My dad just called, hes back in Liverpool, and now I'm booking him a flight back to Canada.

Said they blew out the sail two days from land. Motored it in then put the replacement sail up. Said he saw killer whales this time around...odd that. I didn't know they swam in warmer waters. Always thought they where a northernly whale.... they saw a huge shark at one point take position just under them. said even when it was sunny out the waves were massive so they spent majority of the time in the cabin. Said they are all bused and battered from being thrown 'round....I said, 'well serves ya right for sailing from the African coast to the south American coasts during hurricanes.' Leave it to scousers to be risk takers...or stupid...you decide.
