Matt likes driving, but not for seven hours. That's why he made me promise to drive part of the way to Ottawa this weekend.

The thing is, according to Matt "part of the way" translates to "in Ottawa", so he basically drove until we passed the Parliament building and then goes, "Okay! You can drive the rest of the way!" So I drove for fifteen minutes to my dad's, and then to a hotel.

I hate driving. Bah.

I love driving. Give me a good vehicle, the keys and an open interstate... I'll drive you there! But just give me a day or two notice so I can get some sleep the night before.

The last long trip I took, The drive was great, I didnt have to drive through the snowstorm so that helped, But I was so tired during the drive that it did make it seem longer then normal.

long trips are great if Im the passenger, I suck at map reading so I get lost really easy and that to me is stressful, but hey if I can have a navigator or just sit back and enjoy the ride Im all for it

I can navigate and I rarely get lost. When I do get lost, I know exactly how to get back to where I'm not lost at.

Like when I went to Illinois, I drove past the entrance to the theatre, so I kept going and made two lefts. I didn't know wtf those streets were, but I knew how to get back to where I needed to be.

Lost, yet not lost at the same time.

I love driving.
