going under the knife tomorrow morning

Glad to hear your surgery went well. It is all down hill from here. A bit of a struggle ahead with therapy and such, but you will be good as new in a few months. Take it easy!

"contraindicated"<-------Big word. Translation please.

This is all I could find. I suspect it means something not good but if you could clarify. This is what I found in dictionary search:

contraindication Show phonetics

a sign that someone should not continue with a particular medicine or treatment because it is or might be harmful.

It means just what the definition says, CB. Percocet and ethanol are both central nervous system depressants. In susceptible individuals, that can cause decreased breathing, lower heart rate and a drop in blood pressure. (And I know all about breath, ya know). In cases of overdoses or mixing drugs, those are the reactions that can kill you.
