Despite not liking Thanksgiving Day itself, I am thankful for:
1) friends who have consistently been there for me, the ones I have counted on many times to be like family to me,
2) the way I've been able to take any situation, no matter how bad, and turn it into something positive in the end (I don't know exactly if that means I am thankful for fate or what, but I've had some good luck) and
3) I am also grateful for something else, a private personal matter, something I never expected to encounter again.
