I never drink them. Besides tasting like hay or grass, the list of ingredients usually reads like a horror novel.

Soda isn't good for you either. Too much sugar and caffeine as well.

Like I said there isn't a whole lot of caffeine and sugar in Full Throttle (as with several other energy drinks). There are a lot of natural ingredients in full throttle which aren't bad for you at all, lets call it natural energy. Look up some information on them, they're not all just blatant caffeinated sugar water like koolaid.

Besides there isn't anything on this planet that is good for you. Everything contributes to death at some point or another, so I'm not going to worry about what is and isn't good for me. :)

Whatever floats your boat. I wasn't talking to you specifically James for you to be on the defensive. I was just giving my answer/opinion like everyone else. Ride Breath's case ... she doesn't drink them either (see above post). :P

. . . and yes I'm giving you a hard time. ;)

I'm just trying to set the record straight. Your opinion is cool and all, but it just isn't true for every energy drink. There is a lot of natural and healthy ingredients in certain drinks which help your body. :)

I didn't want to 'ride your case', but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that opinion doesn't always equal fact. ;)

Energy drinks are not good for your body - way too much sugar and caffeine.

Unless you are a professional hockey, football, basketball player, etc. you have no need for drinks like Gatorade etc.

I disagree with that. Anyone who is working hard and sweating a lot benefit from Gatorade. Your body does loose a lot of potassium and sodium when you sweat while working out, working hard or if your spending too much in the time in the heat.
Just drinking water during hard physical activity can create an imbalance in your electrolytes and cause fatigue... This is why Gatorade was created in the first place.

As far as sugar goes... sugar is not bad for you. It's the excess that's bad for you.

I thought that was something that happened in Borstal!:willy_nilly:
