In a VoIP type of chat?

If you don't know what that is, let me explain.
If you have a internet connection faster than dial-up, then you can install a very small program and with a cheap set (less than $20) of headphones with mic, you can talk to anyone who is in the chat room. So instead of making international conference calls, we can all talk to each other anytime we want.

Sound interesting? Want more information on it?

Would it be something that you guys would be interested in?

there are different programs out there. But generally it works like this.... several people can talk at once like a conference call, but it gets confusing sometimes. So people will generally break off into different rooms to have private conversations then rejoin the group later to talk to everyone else. A room with 5-6 people usually find a good rhythm with minimal talk-over.

I used to play a lot of co-op games where there were up to 10 people on our team communicating with these programs. It was a lot of fun working as a team to beat down the other teams. So I thought it might be fun here. Since I know that some of the members have been calling each other and I know that long distance calls can be VERY expensive.

Are me, Peter and Mirage able to get that programme required for this and able to work it from here Tim? Mind you, it sounds very complicated as ever, not sure I would be able to install it and work it correctly?

I have actually used a program like that in the past. It is a great idea. You can talk to a person just like talking on the phone. I am all for it.

If you use Time Warner or Comcast as your phone provider you are using VoIP. You cannot tell the difference on it.

I like the idea Tim.

Probably not. I can't understand anyone your side of the ocean when I'm playing xbox live on gears. I'm like, what the heck did you just say? :D
