For Christ's sake Boomer don't let this drag on. Deal with it ASAP. BUT.....DO NOT get confrontational/hostile with your supervisor. Take a deep breath, compose yourself---------->then by all means go and have as calm as possible a one on one PRIVATE meeting with him to discuss and resolve.

First off I dont think anyone besides your boss should even be talking about it, not all the people you work with. Isnt anyone elses business
Second, I would pull your boss to the side and tell him/her you know whats going on and speak to him/her in a professional manner about it. I wouldnt push any buttons and make matters worse.

Ok, I talked with my supervisor. It looks like we are having trouble with some outer sources and this lady basically took out all her frustration on me. The lil O contractor. My supervisor said it was out of my hands, but to better notate the accts so I cover my arse. No biggie. Looks like I was trippin. The people talking about IT around me werent talking about me, but were all in a hustle and bustle talking about fixing that "outer source". So that just built up the anxiety more.
