I think my sister might kill me

i sneaked through her cell phone tonight to find her kinda bf's phone number...shes been telling me for the past 6/7 months how he was scared to committ...cause of their age difference...hes 40 something shes 26...but wioth him she is the happiest ive ever seen her....so i told him tonight to not screw with her head...to listen to what she says and believe it....that i dont want her to hurt anymore cause of doubt he gives her....he says he wont tell her he talked to me unless she asked...but i think im gonna tell her anyways...we drank together tonight....i just dont like anyone screwing with her head.....grr..i think i may have to kick his ass...

though i think she may try to kick mine now

Probably would be best if she heard it from you first, she might be more angry if she found out second hand.
I'm sure she'll realise you did it from the best of motives and because you care for her but at 26 she is old enough to work out her relationships for herself.
It's not really your place to interfere in someone elses relationship, sister or not.

i tried calling her and i have every intention of telling her about it...she told me once kinda half joking she wished id call him....but i doubt she expected it tonight....

shes interfered with my relationships before...we are just that kind of family....im not really even worried about what she will say cause i know no matter how mad she may get at me she'll forgive me...im lucky that way...but i couldnt keep quiet any longer on this

What kind of probs she's getting with him?...besides the 'fraid to commit.

You did say she seems to be the happiest with him.

Men will come and go in your lives, but the bond between family can last forever.

only the problem of afraid to committ...shes been screwed over before many times and doesnt need to have some half assed guy with her...also...with her being a single mom of 2 its a big deal to introduce someone into your childrens lives without the promise of more

yeah its so true what you said...my sisters have been the only constant in my life along with my mom...but she knows i only always care about her...and as much as i was harsh on him tonight i remembered that she was my sister and she loved him above all

you did exactly what sisters are suppose to do. They are suppose to look out for each other..

Hi Kat, been wondering where you were and mostly, if you are OK.

Well, I think the bond you describe with yr sister, will be enough for her to understand what you did.

At the end of the day, you are a very caring person and have a big heart of gold, so I think what you did, you did with the right motives in mind.

I don't get those type of blokes at all that say they find it hard for them to be able to commit, but get into a relationship in the first place.

Maybe he just uses her for the intimate side side of things, as he is not wanting a committed relationship - he gets his 'bread buttered on both sides' then.

To me, the reason 2 ppl get together is cos they want it to last and mean something, to go somewhere, not just to use a person.

You did a caring thing and so don't you be feeling guilty about it, he is the one it would seem messing her around, playing with her emotions. :)

yeah he says hes ready hes just scared though...he had been in a relationship with a younger woman before and she left him cause their ages were so far apart...hes scared of that happening with my sister or so he told her that...we'll see what happens now though

I talked to her this morning...she wasnt mad at me at all :) she figured by my phone message last night that i had stolen his number but she didnt think i would have the nerve to call ...she was kinda dumbstruck laughing at first and then grilled me on what the conversation consisted of...at the end she actually said thank you though i might kill you anyways :D ....nah seriously though she seemed happy I said something to him...though shed never admit it...plus she did know i only said something cause i love her ...
