Aww Booms. Must have been a right load of lies to have got you so annoyed about it. That is so wrong and why would they wanna do that?
I think it's cos in their own heads, once they have lied about one thing, they go on lying more and more and they then actually believe their own lies.
You have to be so good at that though to see it through, without being caught out - however, no-one is that good not to get found out, so it is totally pointless. There are too many ppl who can see through things and that is what compulsive liars aren't able to comprehend, hence them lying all the time.
The longer it goes on, the worse it will be for that person who's lied so drastically, cos the consequences will be more harsh.

Actually, speaking of liars, this is horrendous...
On our news yesterday evening, there was a bit about a woman in America who had lied that she was at the 9/11 disaster, she lied that she was given a wedding ring from a friend who then died in the disaster and that through 9/11, she met her fiance. There was no fiance and the man's family had never even met her.
That has got to be one of the most sick of liars ever!
I was disgusted when I heard that last night.:mad

Thats sick! Why do people make up shit about things like that? Worse one we had was a former friend who pretended he had cancer. Seeing as both my nans have died of it I wasn't best pleased when I found out the truth. How can people be so sick?:mad

Oh, I have heard about ppl making out they or a relative has cancer, just to get money.
Some of them say their little daughter or son has cancer, just to get money - absolutely disgusting and so very sick.
There was a T.V person too, she was in something like 'Changing Rooms', but it wasn't that one, it was called something else - anyway, she would go and make these homes up and then she lied that her mother had Cancer - she got put away for it for receiving money under false pretences or something like that. Anna Ryder knew her. it was in a magazine about it after it all kicked off.
Erm HO. I hate to say this, but I think yr post is not really approriate for this thread eh, considering the seriousness of the rest of the posts here.

I wasn't laughing about people faking cancer, I was laughing cuz I remember the episode of the guy that did it. Sorry.

I never heard about that one! There was one in America though where the mum was pretending her little girl had cancer just to raise money for treatment and pocket it herself. Apparently she shaved the girls head, starved her and fed her drugs to make her look ill. Truly wicked!:mad
