Ever slammed your hand in a car door? Mmhm, I did today, only it was 10x worse.

I'm getting out of this car, but I'm used to trucks. So, it's naturally too low for me. I put my hand on that metal bar in between the front and back door. Well, my sister doesn't see my hand, and shuts the door. Key word: SHUTS THE DOOR COMPLETELY! As in, it doesn't just slam and then bounce back open. It actually clicks SHUT. So I don't feelt he initial pain. I go to walk to the gas station, and notice I'm stuck. Enter the excrutiating pain. I beg her to open the door, while trying to remain as calm as possible. On the outside, I'm repeating, "It's fine, just a bruise". But inside, I'm screaming, "OH MY GOD, WHAT THE HELL, OWWWWW!!!!"

Worst...pain...ever.

And that's how my morning went. My fingernail is fucked up, and my finger is still throbbing with pain. How was everybody elses day? :)

My son practically lost his big toe nail the other day. :( He was scootering with no shoes on at his friends house and somehow the schooter went back and caught his toe nail. Half of it is missing, well not missing...but sticking up in the air. :(

You sure it's not broken?

(Your thread title caught my attention ;) )

I can bend it, it only hurts when I put pressure on it(It's KILLING ME to type right now).

Can't say that I have done that, but if your parents have insurance and you're still on it; go get it looked at.

I'll most likely try doing that this weekend. I'm still on their insurance, and we do have it.

Don't wait for this weekend... get it done now. Hairline fractures on finger tips will last.

I fractured my knuckle on my right pinky (where the finger bone connects to your hand) I didn't have insurance when I did it, and the pain lasted for 6 months.
