This picture is after surgery #1 and we were trying to get all the dried blood from her hair.. It was very nasty smelling.

This one is after surgery #2... Doesnt look AS bad as she did when she first got to the hospital.

This is me after my sister decided to FART in the room.. It was a BAD oNE!

Here is what my mom looks like now.. She is still really swollen, but its gone down alot.

Has she had surgery #3 yet V? I'm I understanding correctly that a #3 is needed? I'd like to know the day as I'd like to put your Mom on my prayer chain that day.

I believe Surgery #3 is set for tomorrow (Tuesday) if I remember correctly.

I just want to say again that she truly is looking great. She'll overcome this very well.

I'm really not trying to be political here, honestly. I just wish fucking guns would be banned. You give your mum the best wishes from me and I look forward to speaking to her online. You and your sisters are really brave and nearly as much as your mum! I dont believe in god anymore but I 100% want wahtever is out there to look after your mum! Bless and 100% wishes!

Your mum dosen't need prayers, she'll get through this because she's tough! Still like to wish her all my best though!

I know your Mom is strong and has a great heart, things she passed on to her children. All my, my wife's and my daughter's love and prayers for everything to get back to "normal" for her and her great family.


*I just have to say, V., those pics broke my heart. Sorry, I'm not trying to be negative; I just starting thinking of my Mom and how I would feel in the same situation.

Oh my V, it's always so difficult to envisage what something will look like in words, as compared to seeing the actual harm a person has been so wrongly and horrifically put through.

She just has so much inner strength there doesn't she. I haven't seen anything as horrific as that before. I wouldn't know what to do if it was someone close to me - my son or fiance in my case.

The strength between you all is astounding V. Holding eachother together, by you all being there together, is an amazing thing and so obviously so precious to you all.

I can only ask you to also pass on my very best wishes and pass a gentle hug to yr mum from me.

She looks so fragile, but she is going to get through this.

You are all exceptionally strong, loving people - I have never seen this strength or togetherness in anyone before.

So very incredible, all of you.

Take care and I hope her 3rd operation has been as OK as can be.

I am speechless as to how you are all dealing with this - amazing!
