Awww, you gave me rep for the pics - that was kind, thank you hun. :)

Ah, I got another rep for these pics. I really didn't think they would be very exciting. Thank you.

When I have time on my hands, I will go out and about to take more. Will get some nice autumn ones if I can get chance. :)

Awww, thank you. I'm pleased you like them Kat. I forgot you'd been over here before. I'm even more pleased they give you a reminder of a good time. :)

Ha ha ha, just read yr comment about when you went on it (thank you ofr yr rep hun). Well, I very nearly did the same as you Kat. :D I was not comfortable at all up there. I went though for my son, he'd wanted to go for ages. I ahd to psych myself up to go, then to get on it.

Meanwhile, I am just about arranging my mind to get on it and my son says, "Have you ever wondered what would happen if the bolts came lose........." :eekWell, that was it then I was a nervous wreck up there and he had to take some pics cos I was very edgy. Luckily though, we were ok. lol :D

Great pictures!:)I still haven't got to go up in the London Eye yet, believe it or not, I just never seem to get around to it! Its weird not hearing Big Ben chime at the moment while the're doing repairs!

Awww, Peter - well, I would urge you to go, but it's not very nice up there with the pod all see through and all :eek Mind you, it's excellent if you're not scared of heights or frightened a bolt will come loose lol :D ;)

I hear that sooner or later, don't know when, that they will be taking the whole eye down for good. Not sure if this is right or not. It is definately an experience, but be prepared for loads of queueing. Just as you queue to buy yr tickets, you have to then queue outside. Then you may be told to move across the way to queue elsewhere like we did. Also, phone first, cos they do private bookings and then other ppl can't get on!

Great pica Ria Im glad you got it figured out hun :)

lol, so am I think? Thanks for that though. I really didn't expect to get all those lovely comments, let alone the rep that has gone with them too:) I just did those ones to see if I had 'got it'. Easy when you know how, but had a bit of a headache sussing it out.:)

Great pics Ria, makes a person want to go there !

Hi SB, thank you. Not seen you in such a long time, you are missed - are you him or her tonight? lol ;)

Yeah, London's a good place with plenty to do and not enough time to do it in, but it is very expensive. Although, the eye isn't too expensive, but it's the photo you get afterwards, then there's the gift shop. It soon adds up. Lovely buildings etc, but I still say there are better places than London - that'll be cos I am English and use to it I should think. :)

Yeah, it was the clear see through pods that did me in too.

lol, my son bless, love him to bits, but he doesn't think before he speaks. He was so sorry after he said it. I asked if he wanted us to go away there and then, cos it had taken me a week to psych myself up to go there as it was, let alone then get on it - it is still moving when you get on too and they rush you, saying, "Be very quick please......"

Still, I am so happy he got to do something he's wanted to do for ages, but as unconditional as love is, I couldn't do it again lol ;)
