According to an email I received.......a third of adults adapt their accent for different circumstances.

15% of us take someone less seriously if they have an accent.

According to this email three quarters of the population of the UK think Queens English sounds the most intelligent.

30% of the people surveyed thought they didn't have an accent at all!

But here somes the best....

Almost a third of people surveryed think the southern accent is the sexiest!

So guys & gals do you have a particular accent that you find sexy?

i have somewhat of a southern accent. its really bad when i get excited...lol

Anything but boston/new york accent. I really don't have an accent anymore unless I get angry then I end up with a horribly irate southern accent. No one knows though because I don't get angry often.

Guess I'm one of the 25% who find Queens English annoying, especially as its what most Americans seem to think we speak!
I have an Essex accent and am proud of it because its my heritage and despite the negative press it gets, its me! Here's an example of how I speak in a song by Essex favorite singer, Billy Bragg:clap
