Tomorrow 9/11, is yet another sad anniversary of those who were killed in the most disturbing, horrific and uncalled for manner.

I just want you to know that I will be thinking about you all, especially those who were killed, their families and friends over there.

It is a time when it will always be remembered more so on the actual day, even though it has never stopped being thought about.

It will never be a distant thought/memory.

My heart goes out to all those who suffered so horrifically.

I hope tomorrow won't be too hard for people to get through.:)

Oh sorry, of course it is Tuesday, not tomorrow.

Please cld you change the title I have put to Tuesday? I can then edit my post also.

Sorry about that.

OK, will pm Tim.

Audra managed to change a thread title I did before as it had a typo, so maybe she can do this if Tim's gone.

Thank you Tim. :)

I planned on doing this tomorrow, but got my days muddled as said in pm to you.

I can't believe it's been 6 years already.

I know, me too. Just doesn't seem anywhere near that amount of time at all. It's still as raw now as the day it happened.

We have programmes about it on tv tomorrow and Tuesday. They show them each year as a remembrance thing. I assume you have them there too?

No, people won't ever forget.

I remember exactly where I was when we got news of it over here too. It was just before 3pm that day, over here when I got to hear about it.

2001 was one of the worst years of my life. I too remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I found out.

I was starting my day while the lives of thousands were ending . . . forever . . . on this earth.

I will never forget and I will support all action that keeps it from ever happening again.

i was sleeping at the time and woke up to hearing it on the radio.

my mom said people who were alive when JFK got shot will never forget where they were that day when it happened.

neither will the people who were alive during 9/11

Yeah, it has been such a life changing horror that happened, that it will always be remembered down to the last detail.

I was in the office when my boss' wife came in and started telling us about the planes and the towers.

R.I.P. all the victims of that terrible day, something which affected everyone around the world. Even here in a new town in England we had a guy from our town killed there that terrible day. I remember what I was doing. I'd been watching a video, pressed stop and it went to the news showing images of the remaining tower smoking. I remember thinking, I'm sure there were two towers there, before the terrible reality hit me.

I was working nights, so I was asleep when it started. My wife was in college still, so she came home and told me a plane crashed into the WTC in NY, and everybody at school was really scared.

I was confused, because a small plane hitting such a big building is not unheard of. I rolled over and told her to let me sleep for a few more hours.

She was quiet for a minute, and then said "One of the buildings fell down."

I opened my eyes and thought for a second then asked if she said the World Trade Center, and she said yes. I ran into the other room and watched the second one go down. ... :(

I was home, I was going to start high school next day and I was watching TV. My mom was cooking and I was watching the news. They were almost over when they said a plane had crushed (probably an accident). I told my mom to come over. Then the second plane... my mom called my aunt. They both cried on the phone...
