Thought I'd tell ya'll a little story while Im waiting on my uniforms to wash so I can go to bed.:D
Last night this 4 yr old boy came in with a wrench stuck on his middle finger. He had the end of the wrench (the part with the hole on the end of the wrench....I put a picture of it in here so ya'll could see what Im talking about) He had been to 2 different hospitals already and couldnt anybody get it off. His poor finger was swollen and purple. He said he did it to try to impress his older brother. They tried bolt cutters, KY jelly, you name it and nothing would work. They ended up having to send him to surgery:eek I felt SO sorry for the little feller. Oh and after all that, his poor finger was dislocated. I have never in my life seen someone do something like that.

Here's a pic of what Im talking about

If you think you've seen it all, try googling for things people have had to have removed from A & E from their arse!:D

That's akin to a kid sticking their head between railing x100. I'm sure he was scared, bless his heart.

Yeah, have heard of a few, but not through google - lightbulbs, bottles, different kinda food etc etc.

What did you type into google, Peter to do the search?

I didn't but I've read a lot of stories about people in casualty with various things shoved up there. I remember a few years bad in my local newspaper how some guy was found dead with a marrow shoved up there!:eek

whats a marrow hun?

This is a marrow hun - it's in the courgette family (you call them Zucchini's over there I think). Courgettes are nicer though.

This is a Courgette. Doesn't look it, but courgettes are actually smaller than marrows.
