Thats why its best to wait, and not rush out and buy all of this new stuff, that is not really that cool. Ps3 had a only few games at launch at 60 dollars, lame games at that, and the system was 600 dollars, plus the control pads was 50 dollars.

Its a trick, to scam people out of thier money and alot of folks fell for it.

I have to love it. The wife forbid me from buying it and I did anyway, so I can't say I don't like it and have her throw that back in my face

Right now the games are just...a bit more rounded and shiney. Gotta give a new console about a year to start hitting its true potential graphically. Thats why I had no rush either.

Only online I've played is Rainbow 6: Vegas.

It's fun as hell, but it sucks if that makes sense. There's no lobby whatsoever (which I heard was the same as the 360 before it was patched). Makes it hard to find a game. But once you do find a game, it's awesome.

Actually, I'm more for a great story line. My favorite game is FF7. However, the majority of gamers are graphic freaks. And if you ask me, if I'm about to blow 500 bucks on a new console. That shit better look spectacular.

I'm so glad my hubby is not a 'gamer'. It sounds expensive and it sounds like a lot of time is taken away from the relationship and family.

Playing in moderation or with each other after the kids go to bed I could see as fun though.

It is an expensive hobby it seems as well.

They are more then a bit more rounded and shiney. Hell, dreamcast still has awesome looking games and its 2007. You mention " True Potential Graphically ", but these xbox360 games are way ahead of the old consoles.

Xbox games are way ahead of ps2 times. Maybe i dont pay attention to the graphics like others do, but in my eyes, these games that are coming out looks next generation, with no flaws.
