Symptoms for humans? I take it thats what your wondering. The symptoms for rabies in humans........

The typical incubation period for rabies is 4 to 6 weeks. During the incubation period, there are usually no symptoms of rabies. Early symptoms include pain and numbness at the site of the bite followed by vague symptoms that are often confused with those of other conditions. These include:

Fever

Cough or sore throat

Pain, burning, itching, tingling, or numbness at the site of the bite or original exposure

Abdominal pain

Anxiety or restlessness that gradually worsens and may develop into extreme agitation

Later symptoms are more distinctive and may include:

Periods of normal behavior that alternate with bizarre or unusual behavior, such as:

Anxiety or feeling agitated
Hallucinations
Delirium

Fear of water or fear of air
Muscle spasms in the face or neck
Wide fluctuations in temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Coma; heart and respiratory failure

:( I'm kinda freaked out. There was a strange cat in my yard last night. I had this sorta big flashlight(Picture below), and the cat seemed really nice, until it saw the flashlight I was picking up and scratched my damn wrist, I started bleeding. I feel fine now, but like that list says, you don't really feel anything at first, so I'm kinda nervous. It's not some deep life-threatening scratch, but it's still enough to make me worry.

i'm sure you'll be fine. and if you catch the cat and bring it to the vet they'll chop his head off to see if he has rabies

Was the cat acting funny? Rabies in Cats: Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment, & Vaccination has the symptoms for rabies in animals.

Not really, it did jump on our concrete and start rolling and rubbing on the concrete, then it came and rubbed my leg like most cats. But the minute it saw that damn light it bolted.

Haha, that cat doesn't have to worry about a damn vet. If I ever see it again, I'll shoot the damn thing for making me so scared.

Photophobia is one of the symptoms for animals, I think. Also, I don't know if a scratch would transmit it or not.

If I were you, I'd play it safe and go to the doctor. I don't think there's a test they can do, just the ol' forty injections to the gut. It'll be fun!

You would think that with all the technology we have these days, they could test you for rabies.

My mom said she thinks I'm safe. The cat was perfectly happy and normal, and it wasn't a deep scratch, just a surface cut.
