The power of 3 (Men vs Women)

Ok, this came up in another conversation, so I wanted the truth (yeah right, like I'll get that!).

It is said that when it comes to sexual partners, it differs on the answer you will receive whether you are asking a man or a woman.

If you are asking a man, he will tend to multiply by 3, so in order to get the actual answer you have to divide by 3.

If you are asking a woman, she will tend to divide by 3, so in order to get the actual answer you have to multiply by 3.

So, the question is, how many of you lie to whatever partner you are with when they ask you this question (if they do, which tends to come up at some point or another)? If you do lie, do you use the described system?

I've never lied about the number of partners I had. When asked, I just count em up and give the number of girls I can remember...

I don't feel the need to lie, but some do. I think its societies pressures or whatever. If I loved someone, it wouldn't matter if she slept with 1 or 100 guys before me. At least I'd know she was experienced.

one lie leads to another then another lie to cover that before you know it you don't know a lie from the truth it's better to be honest to your partner.

I usually lie and give a smaller number than how many girls I've really been with. Why on Earth would I want to tell a girl the truth? She'd hate to hear it.
