Old people. If there is any type of person in the world that crawls under my skin and tempts me to commit a felony, its the mouth of a stupid old person. They babble on incoherently about how they would have and we should have and we need to. YOU NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP! Enjoy yer pourage and shut the fuck up. Collect your social security and SHUT THE FUCK UP. Im tired of them telling me my music is satan. Or telling me not to take the lords name in vane. You know what? SHUT THE FUCK UP! Go to a nursing home where more people are on your level. If you are going to work around young people, accept our behaviour and SHUT THE FUCK UP! JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP! Go fall off your porch or sumthing.

Yah, I have to agree with Boomer. The only old person I listen to is my grandfather. I am so tired of hearing the "In my day" crap. Hey, geezer, NO ONE CARES. We can read history books and learn all we need to know about "in your day".

I agree with you. I work with a bunch of old people. Some are very nice, others are impossible. Some old people have something against the youth, but really they should envy us. Because soon they will be too old to make decisions on their own. We will run this country with our own decisions.

its kinda scarey to think about though...how unhappy some people are with their lives...its kinda sad...i guess it goes to show if you make good choices for yourself you will have a happy life...but dont try and blame other people for your own shortcomings

I love old people. They are a wealth of knowledge. They are true history books.

I believe you can tell a lot about a country by the way they treat their elders. When I lived abroad, I got to see first hand the difference in how elders are treated.

One day you will be old too. Karma may come back to get the old person that is driving you nuts. But karma will also come back to get you as well. There are not only consequences for our actions, there are consequences for our thoughts as well. Because in the end our thoughts become our actions 9 time out of 10.

I disagree. I can think whatever I want. The moment I put them into action, the consequences follow. Action, reaction...the whole chain theory or whatever. Also if 9 times out of 10, I did what I was thinking. This avatar of mine would be an understatement to fucking crazy. Uh fo sho.:D

I didn't use the word punished and that is not what I was even trying to imply. It sounds like I offended you Boomer. That was not my intention. I apologize for causing you any further upsetting feelings. I was just trying to pull you around to a different perspective to cheer you up.

Being a living history book is one thing, and I will gladly sit for hours and listen to a WW2 vet talk, or listen to old stories from my grandpa. What I don't like, and what I don't tolerate, is being told by an old person that I am wrong simply because I am young, or because the things I do don't agree with their sensibilities. Elderly people, especially in this country, have this driving need to tell others how to do things and how we are wrong because we don't conform to their ideals. If respecting the elderly means I have to sit and be lectured by someone simply because they don't like the way I wear my hair, or my tattoos, no thanks.

~i think alot of old people act that way because they're lonely. it's misplaced agression, they feel forgotten about by their children and the rest of their family, they've been swindled or they're having a hard time coming to terms with the conciquences of age. i used to volenteer at an old folks home and i saw this happen every day. i'm not saying it justifies they're actions, but fuck man we all have bad days. as for being lectured on apperence i get just as much, if not more shit about the way i look from my peers or the generation before me. most old folks think i'm "a character".

Hey! You changed your post. LOL! You said something about being punished for your thoughts.

If I had read this initial post I would not have thought I had upset you.

:confused

I'm confused. That's ok, what else is new? :) LOL!
