Dimebag was badass. i wish i coulda seen Pantera in their hayday as it woulda been one kickass show. btw, that Nickleback song Side Of A Bullet uses actual guitar being done by Dimebag. Vinnie Paul sent it to them to use. i thought that was a badass thing to do. :rockon:

I'm a huge pantera fan, they are one of my two favorite bands, ever. Listen to them all the time, and I always try to beat cowboys from hell on guitar hero... too bad i suck at that game.. lol. I'm glad there are some others on here who finally agree with my musical taste. When I've brought them up on this forum in the past, most people ask who they are.

Boomer...i know you more than likely aint religious, but check out the band Demon Hunter. they are a Christian version of Pantera and they are badass. you cant really tell they are religious at all. check out their Summer Of Darkness album i think you may dig it. im not very religious but its an awesome cd

I checked out that band, and I'm sorry to say... they are nowhere near as good as pantera. Not even in the same category really. But they aren't bad either... it's just a tough comparison to pull off.
