by the way...

I have been smoking Pot for the last 25 years and I still test as a genius on IQ tests. My mental abilities have increased over the years.

I call BS on the lack of evidence he uses to support this wild claim. I also call BS because that guy has some of the worst grammar and his lack of punctuation would make a middle school teacher cringe.

Regardless of his half assed attempt to prove studies wrong with no real sources, pot is illegal, pointless, and will land you in trouble. I unwind from work doing legal activities. What's so hard about going jogging? walking? Something legal?

Stop defending pot, I don't care about it's properties, lack of addiction, or anything else.

There you go, also you claim he is 'biased'. the government studies are biase dtoo, shit. BTW his sources are listed at the bottom of the page

Two of the links are for his own sites. That's hardly research. How are government studies bias? They at least do research instead of basing everything on just their experiences.

Sorry to say guys but most of this guy's information is dead on true. I smoked pot for years and really all the government propoganda against it is mostly false, or at least severely twisted. Pot really isnt that bad. I don't smoke it very often, maybe once every few months now, but as someone who has been addicted to other drugs, and as someone who used to smoke pot on a daily basis, I can tell you that pot is totally different from everything else...it is NOT a gateway drug. And it is MUCH healthier than alcohol.

We're not debating that it is or is not an international gateway drug, but you also can't generalize all pot users in that category. He claims that it makes you 'smarter' and that it helped his IQ jump into the genious section, but I find it odd that he can't write out one single proper sentence with punctuation?

He voices his opinions on that site without very much proof to back it up - that is why this page is so poorly designed and laid out, and the reason I don't put any stock into anything this guy says. I had better writing skills in the 7th grade than this guy has.

It could be true but I see no research on that particular site to back it up. As far as it being a gateway drug, I know it was for my uncle. The people who first got him smoking pot introduced him to other drugs. For him, it was a gateway drug but I know it's not for everyone. But like James said, however it affects (or doesn't affect) you, it's still illegal.

Just because this guy doesn't back up his info doesn't mean it isn't true...pot smokers everywhere know this stuff, these aren't his original ideas. Just because the dude doesn't write well doesn't mean he isn't smart either. My IQ is in the high 140s but I have my days as well where my grammar is shitty. Some people are math people, some people are english people. Just because you aren't good at both doesn't mean you aren't smart. But that shouldn't matter. If you want I can find you a site with some proof, just because this guy doesn't have it cited doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Sneakie, just because someone did pot first doesn't mean it is a "gateway drug." The ONLY reason I could see it being called that is because it is usually the first illegal drug that people try. Once someone tries something illegal, and they see that its 'not that bad', they are more likely to go and try other illegal substances. That is the only reason I would ever say that pot is a "gateway drug." But smoking pot itself does NOT make someone crave crystal meth or cocaine or acid. That's why I feel the term gateway drug is misleading.
