The reason I ask this is because Ive pissed people off with my style of starting topics in the past, and I just want to know what people here think about that...
here are my views:
the more loose a topic is when it is started the less people are likely to bitch about the fact that it goes off topic. some of the best conversations on a message board are the ones that have nothing to do with the OP's topic so I often will post topics with very little solid topic to it at all...
but for some people that pisses them off... it gets them irritated and they end up hating me at which point I usually end up having a wonderful debate with them in one of the topics where the conversation goes on forever... little do they know I started at least one decent topic because they helped it along :\
so what are your opinions? please vote
