I get up at 5:30 this morning, make plans to have someone put my girls on the school bus all because I had a drs appt at 7:30 this morning for an uptake and scan of my thyroid. Was NPO after midnight so I was starving too. I drive almost an hour away for this, I get there and they tell me that the pill I was suppose to take didnt come in so I basically wasted a trip and gas up there.:mad
Before I left, I asked them if I could be re-imbursed for the gas I wasted at least. They are going to mail me a check for my gas since I had a receipt.
Now Im re-scheduled AGAIN for the 3rd time next week while Im working 3 night shifts in a row. Next week is so gonna suck!

Aaaarrrrggghhh! I know that feeling. I have to walk ages to my dr's as no direct bus. That's happened to me too. Can you ring them before you go out of yr way next time, to make sure it's in?

They say they "tried" to call me. I never got a call on my cell and when I got home I checked the caller ID and there was no call to the house phone from them either. So I dont know. I just know Im so aggravated

They should be keeping their records up to date - maybe they got an old number for you in the first place?

I'd ring them, tell them there were no calls whatsoever and see if they even have yr number at all? What if they are ringing someone else, giving all yr details thinking it's you they are talking to? Just a thought. Hopefully an unlikely idea though.
