so what the fuck? our men and women are dying for a not very well thought out concpet, something that you cant even protect with all the weaponry and whatnot that this country has.

i think the people who believe that freedom is something needing protection should get their heads out of their asses, and realize that its just a fucking game. lives lost are a statistic to those in power.. they really dont give a shit - what they say on television is just for appearances.

I don't think it was begging as Lemon said. That said, though, Homer, the second part of what you typed was very harsh. Lemon is still young; he could go on to accomplish many great things in his life. Just because someone is not in the military does not make them half, (or less), of a man than a military man. however, when a soldier wants to hear that his relatives and friends say "i miss you" or "i love you" or other phrases, do you not think that they are implied? i mean come on, of course they miss you. and of course your parents and siblings, and possibly significant other, and possibly children, love you.

and of course, if they dont come back, everyone is going to be in tears, so, it was a pointless video.

I do not wish to fight or be forced to kill someone, but I am damn glad that someone is there to do it for me.

I just wish that the lives of these brave, young people are not wasted by foolish politicians - ever.

I'm with Sharpies mainly on this one. Personally I would never join the army because I disagree with fighting in certain wars the goverment wants to fight right now but these brave men and women deserve our utmost respect, laying their life on the line for their country. Its the goverment who choose the wars not the soldiers. If it wasn't for brave people like them I would be living in a nazi state right now! Lemon, show some respect!
