Man this gets old

:mad Everytime I log on to myspace for about the past week or so, it always says I have new friend requests so I go check them out and each time I look, there are probably 3-4 new friends requests and they are all porn! Its beginning to get old real fast! Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

I always deny everyone of them but I just wish they would stop coming in period. Would setting my profile to private change the fact?

ok so on your home page go into account settings,privacy settings,change settings and you can set them as tight as you want

If you go into your settings you can get music requests turned off. I used to get them all the time before I discovered that.

I don't care so much about the 'porn' stars who request, it's the ones that request and then get deleted that annoy me. I get like 10 new requests and 7 of the profiles have been deleted.

Go into your account settings, you can make it harder for people to send requests. Like, they have to know your last name, your email address, ect.

You can also make it where bands cannot send requests at all to you.

Yep, ^ good advice, I have set mine to that, and haven't gotten one band friend request - and NO porn, at all, they need to know my email addy, it's sweet

3-4 requests sheesh, I wish I only got that many. I got 7 today and thats a light day. I dont want to set my security to high cause a hot girl may be browsing through and se my profile and want to give me an add......what.....its hapend.....seriously and she wasnt a porn bot either.

Amy, try changing your friend request settings to require your last name or email. I always got those porn requests, but I changed it and now I don't get them.

I had mine set so that they had to know your personal email or last name to do a friends request. that helps.
