Define gestures. I tend to sign about half my words and I know it bothers some people who know ASL but I've never stopped to think about people who may not know any.
Anyway, I hate when the teacher I team teach with pulls kids out of my class to deal with things that happened in her class but weren't discovered until later. It's my time to teach them and not her time to deal with whether or not a pencil has been messed with or if they misbehaved during her time. Hold them back (and have them interrupt my class once instead of two or three times) or deal with it at recess. Also, parents who think their children can do no wrong and people who make useless comments that make meetings far longer than they should be.
Or when your in the drive thru giving your order and all you get out is one thing and the person says will that be all? What the hell! Let me finish my sentence before you cut me off!
Sign language doesn't bother me, its necessary for alot of people
When I say gestures, I mean like pointing to your wrist when you ask the time or making a phone out of your fingers, or just waving your hands and arms all over the place (I have a friend that does this) like you're trying to take flight or imitate a windmill

I gesture when I talk, not sign language, and not waving all over the place...
But when I was younger and had an accent, I used to mime everything as I said it, because no one understood a damn word I said. The habit stuck. It's smaller now, like I just do it in a general way, I guess.
I hate people who walk too slow in malls or on sidewalks.
Pointing to your wrist and making the phone are actual signs. That's why I asked. Some times gestures and signs are basically the same.
Didn't mean to upset anybody.....My whole meaning behind that was a specific friend I can think of, when she talks she literally looks like a windmill, every word that comes out of her mouth is so over the top with gestures.
A friend of mine does that all the time. Very annoying.
