This probably sounds like a "James" thread!

But since I was craving the taste, I made a pot of Starbucks Expresso coffee at 7pm last night......and then DRANK IT ALL! Hello!! So of course I couldn't sleep. So I'm laying there, la de da de da.........finally I fall asleep around 2am, so I thought. Then I wake up around 4am, my eyes wide open, not even tired. I tried to go back to sleep by just closing my eyes, but it was driving me crazy.

I need to do something; I can't just lay there. Finally I just got up and started writing. Then I laid down again and turned on the electric blanket, you know, to "perculate" myself some more! :D Finally I fell asleep around 7:30am. I had set the alarm for 9am because I had an appt at 11am. I woke up at 9:45am dead tired and started running around to get ready and eat breakfast.

**Reminder to self: do not, no matter how much the taste calls you, drink expresso coffee at night! :eek

...but it tasted so good at the time! :D

But you're right, it was Espresso, (or as I like to call it-eXpresso): puts you on the expressway to no sleep!

Haha, I was at Starbucks and the kid in front of me ordered a vente caramel macchiato, and while he was waiting for it, Matt commented, "that's a lot of espresso for eleven thirty at night."

And the kid was like, "I didn't order espresso."

Hahaha, oh man. There's three shots of it in a vente macchiato! He didn't even know. Honestly, kids. Know what you're swallowing.

Why is that a James thread? I don't drink anything caffeinated after 6 or 7.

No James, I didn't mean the topic, I meant the type of threads you start. Sort of like a Seinfeld episode. You start a thread about a tiny slice of real life. Maybe something you did or something that happened to you or someone else close to you.
