Donnie named her. The energy can be great but I'm pretty sure she's never been trained and they estimate her age around 2. Walking her on the leash is a little slice of hell right now.
jack Russels dont walk. They are also one of the easiest dogs to train I've heard.
my brother has had a couple
I would never have one
Too high strung and skittish. Definitely not the dog for everybody. Besides who wants a short haired dust mop
The first one growled at anybody other than the brother and his wife if you were not careful. Never trusted it.

I've gotten her to sit pretty quickly, but only inside the house with any consistency. Not too bad considering we've had her for two weeks. She did see a rabbit the other morning and nearly dragged me down a small hill to chase it. Dominic thought it was hilarious.
She only seems to do this with other dogs or whenever our son is with us on the walk. Granted, we haven't had anyone come over since we got her so that all could change.
They are VERY protective. She will always look out for your son.
It's nice until Donnie starts roughhousing with Dominic. She freaks out and tries to break them up.
My brother's German Shephard, Tazz, will do that too. My older brother picked up my niece and hung her upside down and she started yelling...Tazz started barking and growling at my brother. It's so funny, though, b/c he is such a sweet dog as long as you don't fuck w/ his family. He even jumps on the trampoline w/ the kids. It's nice until Donnie starts roughhousing with Dominic. They are the only small breed "Yap" dog that I like...and mainly for all the reasons you just said.
I love their high energy personalities. You do have to train them though.
