sometimes people amaze me, and sometimes it is the simpliest things that they can be the most oblivious about.

So I get the store opened this morning, and I am out of Lids for the Large Coffee Cups, So I put up a Sign right there next to the Cups that Sais We are Out of Large Lids.
Exactly, So why am I surprised when Customers come up with a Large coffee, and ask " are you really out of lids for these" no I just hid them all and put the sign up for so you could ask me stupid questions?

Another favorite, I love when they come in and pre-pay for gas, and when you ask them what pump, their answer.. I dont know which ever one my car is parked on out there. Sure no problem, I only have 8 pumps and 6 cars out there, So I will obviously know which one is yours, and using my psychic abilities, I know exactly what you drive.

I hate when people call 911 and ask, is this 911??

OR they call 911 (emergency) and say, this isnt really an emergency!! HELLO! Look up the non-emergency number asshole! Loud music isnt an emergency, neither is illegal parking... NOW, Robberies, burglarys, kidnappings, carjackings, 10-37 subjects, ect, THOSE are emergencys!!

Ok, im done ranting.

This one time I was at a customers location hooking up their phones while they're moving into this new building.

I got all the lines and phones hooked up properly and I was telling the guy he's all set. His exact words to me: "I think something is wrong, the phone isn't ringing!"

So I look at him and tell him that the phone isn't going to ring unless someone is calling that phone number.

I think he realized what he'd said, so without saying a word, he pulls out his cell and calls the number. Turns out the numbers are still forwarded through their old building anyway. haha

That guy was a tard.

I may actually (shudders!) have to get a job soon, and that will probably mean working with people. Ugh!

There's no monetary reason I need a job, I just need something to complain about, really. And something to do all day.

I am not looking forward to meeting these stupid people.

Actually that's 90% of the reason you need a job.

No. Matt and I are perfectly capable of living off his income.

Compared to him, any money I would make fucking around all day in retail or something is spare change.

I'm pretty much just getting a job to have something to do.

Oh but Le, They are soooo much fun to laugh at later.

One of my favorites, we have stray cats that hang around the store, But there is always someone coming in .. " Is that your cat out there"

Ummm, Do I look like I live here.. WHY would my cat be hanging outside where I work???

The stupidity and slowness of fast food places pisses me off. If it's really "Fast" food, why take an hour to cook it? Damn.

wtf kind of fast food you have there that takes an hour to cook? The longest thing to cook at Arby's is a chicken sandwich that takes maybe 5-6 minutes with making sure it's cooked.

I hate when they ask me to pull forward and park to wait for my Food.. Umm If I wanted to sit and wait for my food, I would be in a resturant, not your drive thru?? WTH is that about, The guy behind me somehow manages his food to cook faster?

Because they have to let something cook that they don't keep up on a 'build'.

Let me guess, you order some sort of chicken nuggets/sandwich, or fries, etc, when that happens, right?

It takes 4 minutes MINIMUM for a chicken sandwich to be deep fried in the 300 degree fryers at both mcdonalds and Arby's. They pull you forward because the guy behind you prolly got a double whopper combo. Instead of making him wait letting his food get cold while yours cooks, they pull you up and let him be on his way with slightly fresher food while, again, waiting for your food to finish cooking. ;)
