im getting a gun

i talked to my dad a few days ago and hes giving me a Winchester 30-30 rifle. its going to stay at his house because i dont have a gun cabinet because 1: i dont own one 2: they are expensive and 3: no room for one. anywho, it may not be the most powerful rifle in the world, but its killed a few deer. i cant wait to shoot it next time i go see my folks.

My Ex used to have a 30-30, He wanted it back to, But I gave it away to somebody, that was one less weapon he had

oh and before all you animal rights activists get your panties all up in a bunch about killing deer, we hunt deer for the meat which is alot leaner (aka more healthy) than meat from a cow.

Lemon....deer is good stuff man. we use ground venison in spaghetti, chili and other stuff. deer tenderloin is good as hell too. throw some veggies and some tenderloin in a crock pot and set it on low and let it simmer all day. take it out and its some of the best tasting stuff in the world.

James...IF i bring the gun here, then i will more than likely get the lifetime permit, but bringing it here is kind of a slim chance.

oh and this was the first rifle my dad ever bought and the first gun i ever shot so its kinda special to me

30-30 is a good hunting rifle. Go get you some venison, just make sure it's a good clean kill.

i hate guns. my boyfriend just bought a glock a few months ago : / it stays in the safe most of the time, but just havign it in my house and not knowing how to use it is a little unnerving.

I have a .357 Magnum Revolver, and a .22 Magnum Rifle. The rifle blows squirrels away pretty nicely. but the revolver has silver tipped hollow points. It's a lot of fun.
