pony girl sent me some cherry wine from a place in Wisconsin. It was good and very sweet.

Later on I tried some white zinfandel, VERY good. prolly my favorite.

Monday I went and got some Merlot... holy crap that stuff sucks.

Zinfandel

Merlot

I'm not a real wine person either, though I do have a box of white merlot in my fridge right now. Yes, I said BOX. Does that even count as real wine?

No report on the taste though, I haven't yet tried it. I'll let you know sometime tonight, cause I'll be goddamned if I'm gonna pour myself a glass of wine at 7 am.....

Australian wines obviously ...j/k

I am a big fan of Traminer Riesling. I don't really like wines that have been oaked, which rules out most reds & Chardonnays, mind you the Unoaked Chardies are OK.

On the rarity that i drink wine its usually Jacob's Creek, i haven't really gone out of my way to try any others, every year i make sloe Gin so if i don't feel like a beer i have a glass of that

I guess as far as wines go its ok but iv tasted richer ones and there much better, but of course more expensive :p

wine was a mistake. everyone should just drink beer, preferably Firestone Double Barrel Ale (yummmmmmmmmm), or Samuel Adams.

I love Toasted Head wines. I fell in love with it when I first glimpsed the label:

yes Toasted Head is a very good brand, absolutely. I'm a big fan of chardonnay myself. The best wine i've had is the "local" wines from the Pomona Winery made from apples grown in the area, seriously it beats any other wine i've had from anywhere hands down.

Shawnee Hills Wine Trail/Pomona

So delicious.

I like German wines. Theres a few wineries in Canada just above Niagra that make Ice wine. It's the lightest sweetest wine you will ever taste. Like a Werscheling or a Resiling.
The Grape growers wait till the first Autum or winter freeze before they pick the grapes. They say that the frozen ripes grapes contain more natural sugar and makes a great tasting sweet wine. Thats my favorite type of wine but I prefer beer.

never really been a fan of wines, but taste wise i prefer the easy stuff like white zinfandel's or dessert wines like rossi asti, rather have a nice dark lager with a t-bone steak dinner

The worse wine I ever tasted was German!
I like Spanish wines (sorry had to say it) :p
My boyfriend (German) likes Italian and Spanish wines the most.

zinfindel tastes good, but it is not very alcoholic. My favorite wines are a deep rich cabernet and a nice spicy chianti. Favs are Robert Mondavi's private selection cab and Gabbiano Chianti.

Ienjoy a good wine but I can't stand these wine snobs! It's just a drink at the end of the day! When I was in Australia I had a couple of very pleasant days visiting the wineries which was made better as there dosen't seem to be any boring wine snobs around unlike here in England! I would say that in general I enjoy French and Australian wines the most and I find most German wines to be a load of crap but, hey, each to their own!:)
