Board games, interactive shows, and co-op games replace passive watching. Do you notice higher engagement when everyone participates? Which entertainment formats work best for mixed-age families?

Family entertainment is shifting toward interaction. Games, collaborative activities, and hands-on experiences encourage bonding and communication, whereas passive watching like TV or movies offers less engagement. While screens still play a role, many families now prioritize shared, participatory fun over just observing.

I think it is kind of both. When my family sits to enjoy a show, we not only watch but also interact, discussion around on entertainment activities go along with watching the content

The problem if that not all family members want to watch a show may be there is someone how wants to watch sports or someone else wants to watch another TV program so it is not applicable to all cases.

That's very true. family members have different interest, they might not be watching the same thing but they can certainly interact while watching together.

Some people go to Youtube and let the TV for the family like grandfather or father or mother to watch what they like and with a mobile phone follow the TV programs they like without enter in a dispute for different interest.
