Nowadays, that hardly has to be bought. Now, considering that most of us are the ordinary man, how would we know what the rich buy that we know nothing about? Maybe they buy space in that underground city for the apocolypse? However, we are ordinary, so we don't know.

There was an iPhone app called 'I Am Rich' which contained a gem and on tapping it, it displayed some 'mantra' stating, "I am rich, I am healthy, wealthy...", something like that. It costed $999.99. A few rich people actually bought that app!

There is a restaurant somewhere in the United States that serves a ice cream desert with truffles, and edible, real gold flakes in it. It costs $1,000 for one (probably tiny) serving. The restaurant stated they sell a few a month. Did anyone catch that article on MSN (I think) where the couple freaked out when their restaurant bill was $47,000? Yeah, scary, except it was a place where the cheapest thing on the menu was $35 hamburger, and an average meal was in $900 per person range. They thought a bottle of wine was $45, and it was $45,000 or something like that. Did they really think a bottle of wine was going to be that cheap when a steak was equal to an average person's weekly wages? This is the kind of thing rich people spend their money on.
By the way, I have seen the "I am rich" app. People are ridiculous!

There are a lot of things that I can name but for some reason gold-plated cheeseburger is what comes to mind first. They are about $1,200 for one and you have to order it in advance so that the ingredients can be flown to the restaurant that serves them.

I'll know that I've made it the second I can order one.

Romania is a rich country right? But I guess injustice and corruption happens worldwide anyway. But it's most common in poorer countries, I guess.

Apart from the many insanely expensive things already mentioned - what immediately springs to mind here - is that ridiculously rich people generally like to have their normal every day things - encrusted in diamonds and gold - like for instance - they wouldn't dream of putting their garbage/trash in anything but a

Now although the majority of us would regard these extravagances as totally insane - I think if any of us could justify spending that much on toilet paper - we would definitely know for sure that we had made it - especially as we would probably think nothing of hopping into our private jets or helicopters to go and do our weekly shopping

What scares me is the 3 Ply 22 Carat Gold Toilet Paper - at a mere $1.3 million per roll! The mind truly boggles. I could do so much with that $1.3M **sigh** LOL What about that gold rubbish bin, I take it it rust proof?!
