No snow here. But I do like it. Just not over and over and over.

Hmmmm...I wonder if I should go to the store before it hits..as alot of accidents happen first snow..hate for the van to get bent up by a rookie driver

Mini van...long story..I wanted a Plymouth.
So...turns out they stopped making Plymouths in 2000..this made the search rough as everything was beat up or wore out.
I found a low mileage 2000 Plymouth Voyager in excellent shape so grabbed it up...I am not a minivan fan but do like the way the Caravans and Voyagers drove.
Hmmmm...now if I can find a cuda in excellent shape I will be happy

Not a van man per say but there are days when I drive 200 to 300 miles so its about "being easy to drive"..I recently wore out a Mazda{265000} thousand miles..its still in the family and is driven daily it was a very easy car to drive was just time to move on.
I have a Subaru outback that is getting loaded down with miles..also an easy driver.
I got the van as the Plymouth Voyagers are easy drivers...great heat, great AC, dual core radiator,can take out the seats in a jiff and I get 26 mpg.
Hmmmm...I guess I am getting old as I put functionality first lol..well that and I just wanted a Plymouth..I remember when we were kids and had to drive up the mountain Dad would take the Plymouth as everything else overheated lol..The AC also beat the Chevys as well.

They were huge in the 70s..it was common for a family to have several children then...while they are smaller now..most of the advancements in fuel mileage improvements have come through aerodynamics and more efficient engines.
30 mpg plus is very common with autos here..many of our cars come from Japan. .and they seem to have grown rather than shrink like the cars made in America....except there is a wave of vehicles out there that stop at the back seat..no cargo area..not enough room for an old school bag of groceries...thats where I draw the line is real small cars..length contributes very little to fuel used and can actually be beneficial in the aerodynamic department. ..granted a 100 pounds of extra weight has to be accelerated and stopped.
How small is too small?...they are already out there.
Many cars which arent to small per say already are in the back seat department..has been going on for decades..if an adult can't sit back there with his legs hitting the front seat..its to small.
To me its all about usable area...people with acceptable comfort and being able to put a cart of bagged up groceries in the back.
