Dumb question on posting pictures

Is the only way to post a pic now through a third party hosting sight like photo bucket?

Use to be able to download directly from files, now the only thing I get is a link.

What am I missing?

Funny, creating this post I see where I can upload a file directly off the computer. However, why dosen't that come up when you respond to a post? Put a copy of what I'm looking per the attachment.

Never mind, I see it now, at the bottom next "Post Reply". Strange, a while back, I don't remember seeing it. I would think I would see it as I just did now when I'm getting ready to hit "Post Reply".

It took me a little while to get used to the new software....I like it alot now though.

I thought the same thing. I think I asked about it, actually, and was told it had to be hosted elsewhere. I've been working around that by uploading through Tapatalk.

Test post with "upload a file" with web browser on a windows 7pc.

All I do is copy image and paste. And if I use Photobucket, I use the image link and enclose it with the image tags. Simple.

How do you copy and paste the image.
I know you can drag and drop..but by paste is grayed out.

Are you going to an image on your pc right click..copy..then paste in the text box of the editor?

No, not directly from my PC. I have to put those in Photobucket first.
