Are you saying that god did not instruct eve prior to her eating the apple...thus had no knowledge to not eat it.

There is nowhere in the scriptures where God is shown as speaking to Eve until after the eating of the tree of knowledge. She is just shown as somehow having even more information that Adam had. Adam was told not to eat and Eve from somewhere added not to touch.

It does appear that she knew of the command to not eat of it but to one who does not know good or evil, it would have just been neutral information as far as something that would stop her goes.

How is an instruction neutral information?...its not it is an instruction.

Just like "Do not kill thy neighbor"...you obey it..you dont question it...its an instruction.
She chose to disobey an instruction from God.
